To Split a Parcel by Defining Area

  1. Choose Cadastre > Parcel > Defined Area Split.

    The Cadastre Fixed Area Dialog opens.

  2. Click Select and select the parcel to split.
  3. Enter data points to define the reference direction line along which to split the parcel.
  4. Enter a data point to set the offset direction. This is the vector direction the template string will slide in order to produce the new parcel.

    A line is drawn from the midpoint of the template to the data point to show you the direction you are defining.

  5. Define the area of the parcel to create.
  6. Click Process.
